Abrasive Wheels
Abrasive wheels training is a legal requirement in Ireland, for all those who are involved in the selection, inspection, wheel mounting and use of abrasive wheels equipment.
This includes Bench & Pedestal Mounted Grinders, Angle Grinders, Con-Saws and Metal Chop Saws. Portable cordless equipment including angle grinders and battery powered con-saws.
A practical assessment of wheel selection, inspection and wheel mounting must be completed to gain a full 3 year certificate.

- Dressing and truing of vitrified abrasive wheels
- Fire safety control measures
- Safe mounting of abrasive wheels
