Food Safety/HACCP Level 2
It is a legal requirement that staff working with food receive training commensurate with their level of responsibility in any food business. This course complies with the requirements as set out by the Food Safety Authority Ireland for Level 2 training.
Classroom or E-Learning options
Classroom Course Duration: 1 Day. Maximum Participants: 10.
E-Learning Course Duration: 1 Hour.

Training Objectives
On completion of this Food Safety/HACCP Level 2 Course, participants will be able to:
- Demonstrate good personal hygiene.
- Identify risks and hazards in food preparation.
- Recognise the main causes of food contamination.
- List the legal responsibilities of a food worker.
- Recognise a pest infestation and how to prevent it.
- Explain the importance of cleaning and cleaning schedules.
